Hi,
I'm looking for a good videographer and photographer, but don't want to spend more than $6K for both. Any suggestions?
I looked into A&A Video | Nico Photo, but they gave me a quote of $14K for video and photo. That seems too high. What do you guys think?
Thanks

i know someone who used them for video only and i know they were expensive.

i follow these photographers and only a couple days ago realized they did video also. might be worth looking into since you want both in one place

are you wanting them in one company?  I am planning on using Waterloo Films for videography. Gorge is based out of round rock but is more than willing to travel and his films are amazing and his price is 2k for his basic package which for me pretty much includes everything I would want.

also grasshopper productions is pretty good
and rusty bryce as really good video prices

for photography I really like:

nicole chatham photography
r&j studios
jenna christine photgraphy
agape house studios
brittany dawson photgraphy

and for the most part they are all reasonably priced to me. I definately think you could get video+photo for under 6K or around.

For photography I would recommend Courtney Moore Photography. She is amazing.

that is really high. what were you looking for in your packages? i think AA/Nico quoted me 7K for both video and photography. I wasn't crazy about their photography, but i really liked their video. unfortunately, my budget is way lower than that.

for photography, i really liked
agape house studio - tina is really nice, and i really liked her photos a lot. she was also sadly over my budget, but she should fit yours

mustard seed - they were one of my top choices, but my day got booked before we could meet. i think they do have video add ons as well for a very good price. i think you could get both from them for like $4-5K

i've heard good things about rusty bryce.

I went with 2 separate vendors for photography and video.

I chose Erica Moncada Photography. Great vendor and so wonderful to work with.
We went with her biggest package, I believe it was between $3k-4k.

Loved everything she did. We also went to Cancun with her and did our trash the dress session.

My video was done by a friend of the family who works for a production company. We paid less than $1k for that.

I think $14,000 is a bit high for both.  Mind you I, I got a good deal on my photographer so Im sure he would have cost more otherwise.

That is a really high price for both photography and videography. I have a friend of mine who went with them, and you dont know who will show up on your wedding day, so you never know exactly how your images/video will turn out. This is why we choose to go with individual's rather than big companies.

Our videographer is Rusty Bryce, he offered us everything we wanted in a reasonable package price. He has one tons of awards and he is really fast about getting video montages out and posted onto facebook, if you want, quickly.

Our photographers are a husband and wife team. Velasquez photography, they are a really great couple to work with.

Hope this helps
